How to Setup The Cudy Mesh Unit

In this article, we’ll cover how to setup your new Cudy Mesh unit, or how to reconnect an existing one.

Configuration Steps

  • Unbox your new additional Cudy Mesh unit and connect it to a power source near the primary Cudy Mesh unit.
  • Wait for the front LED to change to a solid red, meaning the system is ready to be paired.
  • Press the ‘Pair’ button on the back of both units for 1 second.
  • The primary Cudy Mesh unit should start flashing the White LED, while the add-on unit will flash Red & White.
  • When the LED on the add-on unit is solid White, the system has successfully paired.

Placement of Your Add-on Mesh Unit

Ensure you place the mesh unit in an area of your home where the WiFi signal is relatively strong. The Mesh unit requires a good signal from the primary router in order to ensure a quality WiFi connection. If you are trying to extend coverage to another part of your home, do not place the add-on unit in the dead space, but rather in an area nearby. The mesh unit will extend the coverage to the dead spot.
